Spy Party (Ages: 7-13)

SHHHH! This party is top secret! There is a lot to do for this party to make it fun and interesting, read along for more information.

GAMES:
A good game for this party would be a scavenger hunt, it gives you the feeling of mystery. The prize, the thing that you are looking for can be spyglasses, little notebooks, and little pencils. They can be used to complete mini-missions. The scavanger hunt can be organized with morse code so it will take some time to figure out the message and where to find the next enveope. If it is a long scavanger hunt (10-15 minutes), then it can aswell be the only game that you play at your party.

INVITATIONS:
To attract the guests to come to your party, try putting "TOP SECRET" and "CONFIDENTIAL" onto your your invitations. You can make your invitations look like a folder with a top secret note inside which is really a paper with the party information such as where the party is taking place in and at what time it is.

FOOD:
There isn't exactly a specific way to make food for a "Top Secret" party, you can make the food look like whatever you want, unless you want to put in imagination, such as cookies that are designed like magnifying glasses. If you are using these party ideas for a Birthday Party, then the birthday cake can look like a magnifying glass or a question mark.

PARTY BAG: (loot bag)
In your party bags you can include a note in morse code (and a note that shows the code letters and meanings) that says something like "Thank you for coming to my TOP SECRET party" or something else of your choice. THey can also include cheap sun glasses for disguise and cheap magnifying glasses so your guests can play at home. You should also put inside some candy for your guests to enjoy.

"At-the-Movies" Party! (Ages: 6-9)

If you LOVE to watch the television, why not have a "At-the-Movies" Party?! Read oon for good ideas!

GAMES:
For this party you can relate each game with a movie that you like (many good movies are the Disney or  other well-known movies) for example: You can play "Day and Night" statues for "Night at the Museum" or you can play "Magical Carpets" when it is time for "Aladin", etc. (Games explained at the very bottom)

FOOD:

For some good foods to serve, look into some movies for any special foods eaten, otherwise use your immagination and invent your own! For example: You can make cupcakes and design them so they look like Lightning McQueen from "Cars" or even "Baloo" from the "Jungle Book".

GAMES EXPLAINED:
Day and Night

If you watched the movies of the "Night at the Museum" then you know that the characters in the museum are statues during the day, and they party at night. In this game, the light symbolizes either the day or the night (you will need someone to be in charge of the lights, to switch them on and off). When the light is on it is day and you need to be a statue, and when the light if off, it is night and you need to party (dance). When it turns day and someone moves, they turn to dust, so they are out of the game. Keep playing until there is only one person left, that person is your winner.

Magical Carpets

This game comes from the movie "Aladin". In this game you will need a carpet or two. Spread them on the floor, at least 3-5 feet way from eachother. In this game you will need the music playing (someone needs to be in charge of the music, to switch it on and off). Everyon needs to slowly jog around the two carpets (you are not allowed to make a shortcut in between the two), as soon as the music switches off, you need to quickly jump onto a carpet, the last on on a carpet is out. Keep playing until there is only one person left, that person it your winner.

Travel-Around-the-World Party (Ages 7-12)

It would be fun to have a "World-Traveling" Party! Below are some ideas of how to organize one!

GAMES:
You can have a pinata shaped as the world. You can but them in pinata shops or you can make one yourself! You basically make a papier-mache one and then paint it. Your parents probbably tell you not to play with your food, but in this case, the food IS the game! You can have all these different plates on the table with different foods in each plate, and you and your guests need to try and guess from where each type of food is from. Otherwise, you can be blind-folded and you try a little peice of the food and you need to guess the food and where it is from.

FOOD:
At around lunchtime or dinnertime (depending at what time you have your party) you can "travel" around the world and eat foods from different places. For example: When you go to Italy you eat pizza, when you go to Switzerland you can eat a little chocolate, some baguette in France, etc.

PARTY BAGS: (loot bags)
In each guests' party bag you can put some small (cheap) souvenirs from some of the countries that you have been to that day. For example: You can give a little "Eiffel Tower" if you've been to France, etc.
